Story:Not really much of one. Mostly consists of the couple going out and getting into (mis)adventures based on gender confusion. It can be funny, if repetitive, though it careens into ecchi territory at times. Art:Very cute and smooth, polished, artwork.Character: The characters are sweet and it's a joy to watch the love between the main couple as well as a manga where little angst is had about their sexuality and gender expression. Enjoyment:This is like the cotton candy of LGBT manga. Short, sweet, and mostly empty. It makes you feel good, is light and airy, and doesn't try to delve too deep into more serious topics.

It is as mediocre as it gets and would be a perfect work to define the 5/6 rating but it had some issues that just made it worse than it had to be.The story is about a small, petite man looking like a female at first glance and his husband and their “everyday life”. That is about it already. The manga stays alive through the main characters interactions, various “gags” and introduction of some side characters and the resulting relationships. It does get stale fast. It has a repetitive pattern that goes “Everyone loves Yukio>some “gag” about him getting “exposed” as male>Everyone still loves Yukio>some weird vibes (optional, later on)>becoming friends or some shallow interactions and move on”. That is every. single. happening. The “gags” like turning Kido into a “girl” also are repeated over and over- it just is a really weak “comedy” (one of its genres)The only “shake up” is later on, when some mega weird and uncomfortable NTR vibes and undertone get pushed into the manga for no reason- it reads so different from ~chapter 28? onwards. In relation to the mentioned before (NTR vibes), characters just are different suddenly- it sounds weird but when reading attentively it is easy to spot that they act 100% different. Kou, Yukio's husband, is way too lax suddenly and doesn't care about Yukio being too close to others, even encouraging it when before he would be quite possessive- it does feel at times that he got changed into a cuck? (most accurate description I personally could find).Yukio is a much clearer case. He always blushes at other men, makes many allusions to cheating and behaves in a way more outgoing (also in an -open- sexual) way- it has been an ongoing thing that Kou's friend, Kido(who now is WAY more horny suddenly) is eyeing Yukio- and that Yukio is actively enabling the NTR vibes. Chapter 33 and 34 has Yukio making allusions to cheating with Kido as a “joke?” but it happens so often, paired with compliments and blushing, that it makes this whole thing just uncomfortable and unfitting- it is not fun/funny at all. From shy and bashful but consistent into playful-sexual and way too open- where did all the “character development” come from ? ? ?It still is a very sweet and wholesome read with cute, 100% fitting art- but the later chapters just feel different. The “gender conflicts” Yukio (and others) experience are VERY sparse and feel forced in to make the manga seem deeper than it is. There were I think 4 chapters in total with a serious approach on the gender-identity theme. Paired with the repetitive story and interactions, it just is a worse than mediocre read- it could have done with way less and would have been way more -and better-.Read it? Yes, this easily qualifies as a nobrainer to pass time but don't expect too deep engagement and consistency.
