JEFFERSONVILLE — Beatles fans planning to celebrate the iconic band at the WAVE 3 News Abbey Road on River can now buy specially discounted tickets at all 45 Southern Indiana and Louisville Thorntons locations.
General admission, one-day tickets to the 13th annual Beatles-inspired music festival are now $20 if purchased at Thorntons; regular price is $35. Tickets bought at Thorntons also include free admission for one guest 21 or younger.
This will be the festival”s first year in Southern Indiana after 12 years in Louisville. It runs May 25-29 at Big Four Station Park in Jeffersonville.
The event gets started at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, with the free WFPK kickoff concert — featuring Jake Clemons from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Live Beatles music will also be played on other stages during the free opening night, and guests can take advantage of the food and beverage carts and Beatles merchandise.

Over the course of the five-day event, more than 60 bands from all over the world will perform on one of eight stages, including Herman”s Hermits starring Peter Noone, Grammy award-winner Peter Asher of Peter and Gordon, American rock bands The Grass Roots, The Family Stone and Ambrosia, Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and the Raiders and members of the band Wings.
